City Celebrations

The City of Cudahy Celebrations Committee wants to thank all of the volunteers that helped with all of our community events.  Events held within our community allow all of our residents and visitors to enjoy the many good things happening in our community.  If you have any interest in becoming a member of the Celebrations committee, fill out a volunteer form and turn it in at City Hall.

    CUDAHY FAMILY MOVIE NIGHTS

The 2014 Cudahy Family Movie Nights are currently in the planning stages.  The events are held on Thursday evenings during the month of June.  We look forward to providing further information on the 2014 Cudahy Family Movie Nights.

  2013 Fourth of July

The largest day long celebration in the area held here in the City of Cudahy was a huge success again in 2013.  From our parade, through our afternoon and evening entertainment, to the grand finale fireworks, somewhere between 6,000 to 8,000 residents and visitors enjoyed the day long celebration.  Planning is in the works for the 2014 celebration.  The theme of our 4th of July celebration in 2014 will be the Sheridan Park Centennial, 1914 - 2014.  Stay tuned for more information regarding this year's event.

  HOMETOWN HOLIDAY

The Annual Hometown Holiday is held each year at the Cudahy Family Library.  Previous year's events were enjoyed with the music with Santa, the magic of Arden James, the Cudahy High School choir and the hot chocolate and cookies at no cost because of the generosity of our non-profit groups combining their efforts to provide a free family event for their enjoyment.  Planning is in the works for the 2014 celebration.

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT

Sponsored by the Cudahy Police Department and supported by City Departments, local businesses and community organizations, the City of Cudahy holds a National Night Out each year in early August.  The event is held in the parking lot by the Cudahy Family Library.  In 2013, over 800 residents and guests enjoyed another successful celebration.  See you again in 2014 for National Night Out.

More than 100 2010 National Night Out in Cudahy photos can be found on the City's Facebook page.  If you're not a fan, become one!
