Citizen Police Academy
The Cudahy Police department is proud to announce that the annual Citizen's Police Academy will once again be offered this year. The program will last a total of nine weeks and will meet every Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM starting on March 29, 2012 and ending on May 24, 2012.
Citizen "Recruits" will learn about the functions of the Cudahy Police Department including investigations, logistics, training, daily operations and tactical operations.
Applications are available at the Police Department and are open to all Cudahy residents 21 and older. Completed applications should be submitted to either Sgt. Chris Blunt or Sgt. Tom Livesey

Neighborhood Block Watch
The Neighborhood Block Watch is a group of concerned citizens, who along with community leaders and the police department, share information and ideas to make their neighborhoods safer, more enjoyable places to live.
The block watch meets on the last Wednesday of every month.
National Night Out
The Cudahy Police Department participates in National Night Out in August. The event disseminates information about crime and drug prevention awareness; generates support for and participation in local anticrime programs; strengthens neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships and sends a message to criminals that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
