Routine Immunization Clinics

Immunization Clinics are held twice each month to provide routine immunizations for any Cudahy infant and child up to the age of 18 years.  Your baby's shots should start at about two months of age and continue throughout the first two years of life.  There is a $15 per person charge for these vaccinations.  This charge may be waived as necessary. Certain adult immunizations are also available.  Please call 769-2239 for additional information and cost of vaccine.

Immunization FAQs

Visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Vaccine & Immunizations web page.

The Cudahy Health Department offers TB (Tuberculosis) skin testing to identify people who may have come in contact with an active case of TB.  In addition, the Health Department also tests those individuals who are at risk for coming in contact with this disease, such as health care providers, police and firefighters/EMTs.

Nursing Clinics

A general nursing clinic is held monthly at one of three senior housing apartments, on a rotating basis by appointment.  Each visit consists of blood pressure and pulse measurements, auscultation of heart and lung sounds, and other physical assessment as indicated per complaint or history.  Medications and health practices are reviewed.  Participants have the opportunity to discuss health related concerns.
